There is an unbreakable bond linking technological power with clean aesthetics, and that is precisely where great Design is born.
Today, we’re delighted and proud to reveal an extraordinary milestone: the new Range of Professional 56V Battery-powered Gardening Tools—developed in close collaboration with our partner EMAK for the OLEO-MAC and EFCO Brands—has been officially selected for the ADI Design Index 2026 Award.
This prestigious selection paves the way for the entire product family to contend for the Compasso d'Oro Award, recognizing a project that successfully combines industrial performance with sustainability.
When designing this range (BVi 570, HCi 560, BCi 530, and Gi 553 V), our shared goal with EMAK was to give a distinctive shape to a true technological revolution for landscaping professionals. Beneath the casings lie high-efficiency brushless motors featuring "constant power" technology—ensuring consistent performance right down to the last second of charge—supported by mechanical components adapted directly from robust internal combustion models.
As the Design Studio, we worked to harmoniously integrate 2 key elements of the project:

• Digital Innovation: the user interface is enhanced by an advanced digital display (showing charge, speed, and maintenance status), that connects via Bluetooth to a dedicated app and cloud monitoring system.
• Material Sustainability: the casings are made primarily from plastic materials—with a strong preference for Polypropylene—a choice aimed at minimizing the environmental impact across the product's entire lifecycle.

An achievement of this magnitude is always the result of a deep collaborative understanding. We would like to sincerely thank the entire EMAK R&D Team for their constant support, vision, and the trust placed in our studio during the critical co-Design Phases of this extraordinary Battery-powered range.
