The hallmark of Concept Design 2 is its two "cages" which are made from sheet-metal cut and welded to round tubes. Both their shape and different colour accentuate their formal independence, as they attract the eye towards the trowel’s main mechanical parts: the blades.
The pioneering seat is housed between two large plastic tanks made with rotational moulding in a single mould.
These tanks are "hugged" and held in place by sturdy bespoke sheet-metal panels. Two ergonomic armrests enhance operator comfort and improve safety, as they keep the driver firmly in place while the trowel is being driven.
Lighting is provided in low-visibility environments by 4 LED headlights, which are positioned for maximum illumination around the trowel.
A folded sheet-metal hood covers the back-mounted engine and an additional sheet-metal panel has been welded on as a grill.
